MemGauge — Privacy Policy

MemGauge does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.

• No data collection. MemGauge gathers no personal information, no usage analytics, and no diagnostics.
• No network access. The app has no networking capability whatsoever. Nothing about you or your Mac ever leaves your device.
• Local-only readings. MemGauge reads your Mac's system memory statistics and the memory use of your running apps using standard macOS APIs, displays them on screen, and keeps a rolling in-memory history of about two minutes for its chart. These readings are never written to disk and never uploaded anywhere.
• Local-only settings. Your only preference — Launch at Login — is handled by macOS itself. MemGauge stores no files of its own outside its sandbox container.
• Sandboxed. MemGauge runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It cannot read your files, and it cannot quit or control other apps — it can only bring an app's window to the front when you click it.

Because MemGauge collects no data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf.
