It helps to include the app version (Settings is the easiest place to confirm you are on the build you think you are), what you were doing, and what you expected.
Health permission problems are usually settled in the iPhone Settings app → Health → Data Access & Devices → RunCoach, not inside the app. We cannot flip those switches for you.
