Terms of Service

These terms describe the conditions for using ebtechnologies.net and the applications, integrations, and tools that expressly refer to these terms (the “Services”). The Services are provided by EB Technologies Inc., a Canadian company (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Our products may have their own licence, store terms, or additional conditions. Those specific terms apply to that product and take precedence on the matters they address. These terms do not replace an existing product licence. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
1. Using the Services
Use the Services only as permitted by these terms, applicable law, and any terms of the platforms you connect. By using a Service that refers to these terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use that Service.
You must be able to enter into this agreement, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where appropriate. When acting for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. Internal tools and test integrations are available only to people we authorize.
You may not use the Services to gain unauthorized access, bypass security or platform limits, collect information without permission, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious content, or interfere with a service.
2. Connected accounts and your content
Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Review the permissions requested by each integration. Keep your device, credentials, and access tokens secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.
You retain ownership of content you provide. You give us only the permission needed to process that content to perform the actions you request. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions, and for reviewing content and destinations before requesting an upload or publication.
Third-party services, including TikTok, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube, have their own terms and privacy policies. They may change permissions, availability, or API behaviour. We are not endorsed by those platforms. Data and metrics they provide may be delayed, incomplete, or revised.
3. Internal tools and testing
Insights Labs (also referred to as Insights Lab) is currently an internal collection of social-media analytics and publishing tools operated by EB Technologies Inc. It is not currently offered as a public product.
Its TikTok integration is being tested with authorized Sandbox accounts to retrieve profile information and video metrics. Uploading or publishing is available only where implemented, permitted by the platform, and separately authorized by the account holder. Connecting an account alone does not request a publication.
Test features can change, contain errors, or be discontinued. Participation does not guarantee public availability, continued access, or a future release. Keep independent copies of important content and records.
4. Our materials and purchases
We and our licensors retain ownership of our software, branding, and website materials. You may use them as permitted by the applicable licence or these terms. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
For paid products, the price and purchase terms shown at checkout apply. Purchases through an app store are also subject to that store's payment and refund rules. These terms do not introduce a fee or subscription.
5. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide useful and reliable Services, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or compatibility with every device or third-party service. To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or opportunities, resulting from use of the Services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies available to you.
6. Ending use
You can stop using a Service at any time. For integrations, revoke access in the connected platform and remove locally stored credentials and data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or discontinue a Service or access to an internal test when necessary for security, legal compliance, platform requirements, or a breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice. Stopping an integration does not delete content you previously published to a third-party platform.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Services change. The revised terms and effective date will appear here. Where required, we will give additional notice or obtain agreement before material changes take effect.
